The authors analyze the conditions of effective formation of the value orientations to the culture of the countries of the studying language (by the example of the student of the linguistic gymnasium № 6 (Penza)), and adduce the research results of formation of the levels of such attitude among senior linguistic gymnasium students in the process of teaching the course of "History, Culture and Art of English-speaking countries".
